Established in 1880, West Hallam White Rose Cricket Club is a thriving and successful cricket club playing in the Derbyshire County Cricket League, with junior teams competing in the Erewash Youth Development League. We pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere for players and spectators alike.
We run 2 senior teams in the DCCL Division 6 North, and DCCL Division 10 South.
We have a vibrant junior section with teams at Under 8's, 11's, 13's, 15's and 17's who play in the Erewash Youth League. We also run winter coaching programmes. We are very proud of the fact that many of our senior players have been a product of our junior set up.
Since 2012 our club has participated in the Chance to Shine Campaign. This involves club coaches visiting local schools to promote and encourage participation in cricket.
The club has an excellent social programme throughout the year which boasts the village Bonfire Night, Brass Band Concerts, Live Music, Race Nights and Casino Nights.
We are always delighted to welcome new members, both junior and senior in any capacity - playing, coaching, volunteering, spectating and especially socialising.
